All the Mods 10 can feel overwhelming at first, with hundreds of mods included in the pack, knowing where to begin your progression isn't always obvious. This guide will help you get started quickly.

 

Start with the Quest Book

 

The best starting point for any ATM10 play through is the quest book. You can find it in the top-left corner of your inventory screen. The quest book is designed to walk you through the pack step by step, introducing you to the different mods in a structured way rather than leaving you to figure everything out alone.

Inside you'll find useful tips and tricks, beginner-friendly quests to guide your early progression, and rewards for completing each quest, giving you a helpful boost as you get started. Following the quest book is widely considered the best way to progress through ATM10, and it's the approach we recommend to all new players on SiriusMC.

Beginner Tips and Tricks

  1. VEIN MINER: ATM10 features the Ultimine mod, also referred to as Vein Miner. This mod allows for you to mine several of the same type of block at once, which makes mining for resources a lot more efficient. It also gives you the option to choose from mining large 3x3 tunnels, to staircases, helping you reach lower Y levels for better materials.
  2. BIOME AND STRUCTURE LOCATING: Two essential tools in All the Mods 10 make finding biomes and structures significantly easier: Nature's Compass and Explorer's Compass. Nature's Compass lets you search for any biome in the game, then points you in the right direction and tells you how far away it is, and the Explorer's Compass works similarly but is designed specifically for locating generated structures rather than biomes. These two pieces of equipment help you find any biome and any structure in ATM10.
  3. YOUR POWER GRID: Mekanism wind generators are said to be one of the best early power generators in ATM10, they are accessible early game, and do not require fuel, lava, or fancy setups. Simply place them down, and they will begin generating energy (FE). The higher you place them, the more power they generate, so always build them as high as possible for maximum output.
