It includes mods such as IndustrialCraft, ProjectE (Equivalent Exchange), Project Red (RedPower) and BuildCraft, alongside additions such as Galacticraft!

Hotfix update!
Just updated 5 mods to their latest version, which include a fix to the Oil Fabricator crash, improvements to fluid handling via Fluidlogged API v3, and world map rendering.Version 1.2.5
Changes:
• Added the Nothirium + Naughthirium mods, which together improve the rendering performance drastically.
• Also added the Classic Fabricators mod, bringing back the fabricators from the original Tekkit, and the Modern Beta Forge Release Plus mod, which adds more classic world generation presets, including Release 1.1 which is quite close to 1.2.5.
• Updated 19 mods to their latest versions, which include some particularly useful new fixes and features, including better world map rendering!

Downloading Tekkit 2
Technic Launcher
Enter "Tekkit 2" into the search bar, the modpack will be the first one on the list.
After selecting the modpack, venture down to the bottom right of the launcher and click "Install".
After the modpack is installed, venture to the top right of the launcher and select "Launcher Options".
Venture to the second setting and select "Java Settings".
After you have selected Java settings select your choice of RAM.
Tip: If you have 16GB or more use of RAM, ( 8-12GB ) allocation of RAM will ensure a smoother gameplay.
Recommended RAM allocation: Server Recommended ( 3-5GB ).
