How do I start on the modpack?
RLCraft has a steep learning curve, so here are some essential tips to get you going (Providedprovided by Shivaxi on CurseForge):
-RightRight-click topickuppick up an item you're lookingatat, or crouch topickuppick up items in a radius aroundyouyou.-Can'You can't punchtrees,trees — blocks require their proper toolsfortoharvest (except weak blocks like dirt, gravel, etc),harvest, otherwise they won't dropanythinganything.-Make flint tools first, getGet flint from gravel, get sticksfromby breaking treeleaves,leaves.holdHold flint andrightright-click on a hard surface (stone) to smashflintit into flintshards,shards.punchCombinetree leaves for sticks,a stick+and a flint shardontotopmake=a flintknife,knife.useUseflintthe knife to cutgrass,grassgivesfor fibre, and 3 fibre = 1 grassfiber, 3 grass fiber = grass stringstring.-Make a flint hatchet(axe)usingwitha stick, grass string, and flint shard.In your inventory youYou can look up anyrecipe,recipebottomin your inventory using the bottom-right searchbar, type flint and left click on flint hatchet to see recipebar.-Use the hatchet to choptree,trees.get wood, placePlace wood onground,therightground and right-click with the axe to chop intoplanks,planks; do the same with planks to getalsosticks.- Rocks
planksare scattered on the groundand—chop with axe for sticks There are rocks all over the ground, rightright-click topickup,pickcraftthem up. Craft 4 together in a 2x2 toturnmakeintocobblestone.cobblestone,A stick + cobblestone makes a dagger, a good startingweaponweapon.-Drink waterwithbyemptycrouchinghand,andcrouch, right clickright-clicking on a water sourceblock,block with an empty hand. You can also drink fromrainrain.- 3 wool makes a sleeping bag — note it won't set your spawn point. Waystones set your spawn; if
it'syourainingdislike your spawn, don't activate one. -LookupPresshealingHitems,tosomesee locational hit damage. Helmets areeasyimportant — you will get headshot without one.- At level 5, press L (or the skill tab in your inventory) to
craft,choosesomeyourarespecialisation.hard,Items list their skill requirements, e.g. you need 8 attack to use an iron sword. - Combat heat and cold with campfires, wool clothing, potions, ice armour, and more.
- String and grass string
andcanpaperbothisbeeasiestturned into wool. -Birch wood can be crafted intopaperpaper.-3Exploringwoolandmakesfinding shelter early is asleepinggoodbag,ideawon't—setshelterspawnmay even provide starting items.-Waystones set your spawn point, if you hate your spawn, don't activate a waystone-If it looks like it will kill you, it probablywill-Press H, locational hit damage now, helmets are important or you WILL get headshot-When you reach level 5, PRESS L (now tab in inventory screen) and choose your specialization to start earning extra XP. You have 2 skill menus, L skill menu for special skills in various categories, and the skill requirements tab in your inventory. For example, you need 8 attack to use an iron sword. Items list their requirements.-Several ways to combat the hot/cold, there's campfires, wool clothing, potions, ice armor, etc-Lots of new and custom generation, exploring and finding shelter first is a good idea, shelter may even provide starting items-String and even grass string can be turned into wool!-Highly recommend Optifine for 1.12.2 found here:https://optifine.net/adloadx?f=OptiFine_1.12.2_HD_U_G5.jarThis will allow you to hold light sources in your hand and have them emit lightwill.
How

SiriusMCoptimizesoptimises gameplay for ourplayersplayers, andyou may noticesome more destructive items are banned.
These items are banned due to theirpossibilitypotentialoftoharmingharm serverperformance, economyperformance or the economy, or because they may be usedintothe destruction ofdestroy claimed player bases.
YouUsecan use/banneditems in-game to seewhichtheitemsfullhave been banned for this reason.list.If you notice items or mods causing dupe glitches, claim
