Extra Bees

Apiarist Machine

Is the base crafting component of the tier 1 machines from Extra Bees. It is also used to craft the base crafting component of the tier 2 machines, the Genetic Machine. Although this block can be placed in the world, it has no use in the placed form.

Uses

Used only as a crafting component for further machines.

Acclimatiser

It is used to change the tolerances for humidity and temperature as well as the used flowers of the bees.

Uses

Input a bee into the right slot and a stack of changing material into the left slot, to change the appropriate attribute. The better the current tolerance already is, the harder it is to change it further.

• Lava: Raise tolerance for higher temperature
• Blaze Rod: Raise tolerance for higher temperature
• Blaze Powder: Raise tolerance for higher temperature
• Snowball: Raise tolerance for lower temperature
• Ice: Raise tolerance for lower temperature
• Water: Raise tolerance for higher humidity
• Sand: Raise tolerance for lower humidity

To change the used flowers, put flowers of the desired type into the left slot (e.g. if you want to change to use jungle flowers, put some Vines into the slot).

Indexer

It is used as a virtually unlimited chest for all types of bees.

Uses

Add or remove bees either manually or by piping them in/out. The Indexer serves as a buffer for unnecessary drones produced during the breeding process. When the Genepool is built the drones can be piped there. The size of the Indexer is for all practical purposes unlimited.

The sort button has three modes:

• None: Display the bees in the order they've been added
• Species: Display the bees by sorting the same species together. For each species the queens come before the princesses and finally the drones.
• Type: First come all the queens, then all the princesses and finally all the drones. Each category has the same base order.

Apiarist Databank

The Indexer is a machine of the first tier from Extra Bees. It is used as a stationary version of the Apiarist Database.

Uses

The Databank is used in the same way as the Database. More usage information can be found there.

Genetic Machine

Is the base crafting component of the tier 2 machines from Extra Bees. It is also used to craft the base crafting component of the tier 3 machines, the Advanced Genetic Machine. Although this block can be placed in the world, it has no use in the placed form.

Uses

Used only as a crafting component for further machines.

Genepool

Is a second-tier machine added by Extra Bees. It is used to extract Liquid DNA from bees.
